It’s also got built-in low-pass/high-pass crossovers, speaker level inputs for easy connection to an OEM headunit and oversized power terminals.
Inspired by Excellence
Pioneer is constantly finding ways to make amplifier technology better. The new and improved Pioneer GM-A6604 proves how you can add cutting edge technology and more power to your system without breaking the bank. Like all Pioneer products, these amps are fully tested to ensure that each is designed and built for performance.
Having more power isn’t just about LOUD. It’s also about CLEAN, getting the most out of your speakers and your music. Constant road noise makes it hard for the music to be heard clearly. But with 760 watts max. power, you’ll get to hear all the words and all the notes.
Variable LPF (low-pass filter) and HPF (high-pass filter) allow for adjustable frequency between 40 Hz to 500 Hz and greater car audio system flexibility according to subwoofer characteristics and personal listening preferences. The Pioneer GM-A6604 has a variable LPF/HPF on Ch. B and fixed LPF/HPF on Ch. A.
High Capacity Switching Power Supply
To suppress power supply loss, the Pioneer GM-A6604 amplifier has incorporated a large toroidal transformer and are driven using a high-speed switching MOSFET. This stabilization of power supply maintains stable playback of all types of music.
To accommodate the varying range of signal levels coming from today’s factory and aftermarket radios, all of Pioneer GM-A6604 series amplifier features adjustable gain controls. This means that no matter what kind of radio is connected to this amplifier, the appropriate gain control adjustment can be made to ensure loud, clear, distortion-free music. And even if the gain control level is set improperly, Pioneer’s Gain Control Caution feature will automatically reduce the amplifier’s output until the head-unit volume is decreased to acceptable levels. This added layer of protection helps to prevent damage from occurring to the amplifier and the speakers connected to it due to improper gain control adjustments.
Bringing The System Together
The Pioneer GM-A6604’s speaker level inputs allow you to connect your OEM unit (or any unit that doesn’t have the typical RCA-type inputs) without having to buy add-on adapters. SO, the install goes faster, you save money, and you’ve got a Pioneer amp in your vehicle.
